Lost Lake (Unfrozen)
I didn’t even recognize it.
Not until later, anyway.
A couple years ago, on one of my first trips to Canadaland, John and I took a daytrip to Whistler in the middle of the winter (cold, cold winter) and snowshoed on these very same trails. With feet upon feet upon feet of snow, the going was a little slower and the trail took a little longer than it did a couple weeks ago.
But there we were.
Same path, same people, different season.
Only this time, the lake isn’t even frozen over.
P.S. Best hand-me-down EVER. I’ve come to really love this blue shirt. So incredibly versatile. With a different color layered under or over, the look is transformed. Made the perfect shirt to pack on my recent trip to France. Versatile functionality, all the way.
Beautiful! This country! We (Us – not you) need to see more of it! That top looks great on you 🙂
I think you’re stunning.
