Newborn: Eden (10 days old)

Lucas came to the door first. He stood on tiptoes, peeking through the venetian blinds before unlocking the door and swinging it open.  He was shy, but excited.  “My brudder is here,” he announced before scampering across the hardwood floors and hiding behind Daddy.

Little Brother slept in Daddy’s arms while Big Brother cuddled with them both, occasionally Lucas would stop to stare in awe at the little tiny creature that he had met only ten days earlier.  The official helper, he’d just finished having his first few minutes of cuddling with baby Eden into the “big boy bed” showing him the “big boy toys” and sharing like a champ.

P.S. It wasn’t all that long ago that Lucas was the little one.

So there they were. Lucas and his brudder. Lucas and Eden and their Mommy and Daddy.

Eden and his little teeny tiny fingers and his perfect little mouth and his delightful little toes and his scrumptious little yawn and his bright happy eyes.

They’re a family of four now.  And…yes…home is you.
