A Day with Janel: Abbotsford, BC
She picked her outfit well. It was the most beautiful of dresses and the most perfect of colors. The teal complimented her eyes with exquisite precision and somehow made her already beautiful hair even more delightful. It seemed fitting, really: beautiful sunshine, beautiful dress, beautiful girl.
But she was standing in the middle of the forest. A dirt road to drive up the mountain, a gravel parking lot at the base of the trail. Her goal? Climb a little higher.
What else to do, then, but put on a pair of hiking boots and start walking?
In the forest.
In a dress.
Perfect curls and all.
It seems like a life lesson, or something.
Life is full of obstacles; you might as well look good tackling them.
