Love on the Lake: Zeke and Meagan
Zeke and Meagan created a sailboat out of a canoe. I think that pretty much sums them up. Completely.
The ability to take a good thing and make it better is grossly undervalued.
The willingness to make the effort toward excellence is priceless.
And necessary.
They are moving to Papua New Guinea, hopefully soon, but maybe not for a while since they have to still raise the support they need.
Getting there won’t be easy, being there won’t exactly be a walk in the park.
Its far far far away.
Its away from the families they both love dearly.
Its a different culture.
A remote situation.
Very much not an air conditioned, microwave society like we have here.
But.
Not only do they want to go and not only are they willing to go.
There’s this key quality they have: the priceless willingness to make the best of tough circumstances.
The undervalued ability to make a good thing and make it better.
So even when maybe living in a new country on the opposite side of the world in an unfamiliar culture is tough, its going to be good.
Because they can make a sailboat out of a canoe.

WOW!!! i just couldn’t keep the tears from welling up when i looked through all your beautiful “windows” into Meg and Zeke’s life right now…you truly have framed them perfectly and it’s wonderful to see them though you, thank you, your pictures are incredible…i just don’t have any more words than my tears can say…thank you…

Meggy’s sister 🙂
I was awed at how you captured their hearts in word and picture. Bless your ministry of perspective! A dear friend of our family once said, “He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” What we give to our God is only what He has given us first. May we all do this without reservation, without hesitation, with all our heart.
sweet hat.
Two of the best people in the world. Three, actually 😉
