Backyard Wedding
Nestled in on the family farm, the fir trees stood guard over the backyard wedding festivities and the rows of berries watched carefully as the family gathered to celebrate Will & Lyndsey. Mom watched from the kitchen window as guests arrived, Lyndsey walked across the backyard to meet her groom, Will perfected his tie length in the home he’d grown up in.
A piece of Fraser Valley Paradise, their backyard wedding was beautiful and intimate, personal and festive. With a few rentals (chairs, tables, tent), a talented caterer, a yard for children’s play, and a couple pieces of decor, Will & Lyndsey transformed their backyard into a wedding venue worth celebrating
Surrounded by her gal pals, Lyndsey was a stunning example of picture-perfect bride . . . but happily trampled through fields of weeds for sake of her photographs.
Dapper, aren’t they?!
I loved shooting this wedding alongside Leanne Sim — she made tromping through fields, walking through spider webs, and wiping away sweat more than fun . . . it was an adventure! Thanks for letting me shoot with you, Leanne!
She chose the lush Douglas Taylor Park for Will & Lyndsey’s first look. What a divine corner of the Fraser Valley.
Will’s niece stole the show with her flower crown and winsome ways. She danced into the heart of every guest and frolicked there, spreading sunshine and joy.
