Steven and Ashleigh walked toward his new car — the little sports car sitting in the middle of the parking lot. She walked next to him. Giggling at something he’d said. He looked down at her and smiled. Really smiled. His girl was by his side and all in the world was well. Still hand-in-hand, he walked to her side of the car, opened the door, and waited for her to settle in before closing it behind her.
In that one little gesture, Steven proved that chivalry really isn’t dead. And Ashleigh really is a lucky girl.
And she knows it. Her joyful smile says it all.
Nothing but joy. Uninhibited. Unrestrained. Uncontrolled.
Joy spilling over into laughter. Giggles. Secret smiles. Smug glee. Playful love. Witty banter.
