Kanaka Creek Park Family Photos

As we tackled Kanaka Creek Park family photos on a bitterly cold November afternoon, the sunshine and familial love kept us warm. The siblings are friends, the cousins are friends, the parents are friends. This is what family should be: friends.

With so much cold (and apparently boundless energy!) we kept warm and stayed invigorated by running the trails, chasing the light, exploring the creek, finding icicles.

I especially loved watching the princess among her cousins, the rose among the thorns.  As the only girl, she was cherished and loved and protected and teased…all mercilessly, all happily, all lovingly.

Even the crazy goofiness is cute, dontchathink?

And photobombing? It’s an art.

I can only imagine how thrilled Grandma was when she unwrapped these photos as her Christmas gift.  Do you think she cried happy, delighted tears?
