Queen Elizabeth Park Portraits

When I sent out a plea to my facebook followers, I was begging for someone to spend an afternoon downtown Vancouver with me.  Be my friend? Please? Come hang out with me? Pweease? I had high hopes for the fun that we would have in the peak of Cherry Blossom beauty, of course, but never in my wildest dreams did I envision this level of glorious fun and swoon-worthy beauty.  Not much can beat these Queen Elizabeth Park portraits – between the cherry blossoms, the view overlooking Vancouver, the winding pathways, the waterfall, the abundant flora and fauna, it was perfection.

Plus, having five of the funnerest (my own made-up-word) munchkins to play pretend with? Superb.  We were airplanes and trains and giants and fairies and cats and dogs and statues and just about everything in between.  We climbed trees, ran through fields, stopped to smell the flowers, toted an orange chair all over the park, raced around like little lizards, jumped into the creek (oops!), and – basically – made a bazillion new memories in between all the photo ops.

Yes, this was the ideal of portrait sessions.  Queen Elizabeth Park, happy smiles, playful games, and making memories.

If you’re interested in your own family portrait session, you should email me or follow me on facebook to watch for my next model call!
