Hacienda Del Sol Wedding

The only thing more magical than a desert sunset is a mountaintop sunrise, in my humble opinion, and a desert sunset at a Hacienda Del Sol Wedding in Tucson, Arizona really does take the cake.  Between the absolutely sublime location (Hacienda Del Sol is not only gorgeous, but the staff is superb!) and the fabulously-in-love pair, and the ridiculously amazing details, spending an afternoon photographing with so much beauty all around me? I spent most of the day hyperventilating in excitement, overwhelmed by the fun!

See, I love Arizona. Not only is it a stark contrast to my normal Pacific Northwest lushness, it’s also the home to both of my siblings and their ridiculously adorable children.  Any excuse to hang out in the land of adorable nieces and desert sunsets? I’m a fan!

Plus, for this trip I spent four action-packed days not only photographing a wedding with the insanely inspiring Laura K. Moore Photography but I also worked with local wedding vendors to create three uniquely inspiring wedding sets to feature in my brand-new Tucson Wedding Planning Guide. When the styling is this good (Mollee, you’re amazing!) and the tables are this gorgeous and the dress from J. Bridal Boutique is this perfect, the Hacienda Del Sol Wedding day is bound to be amazing.

Plus, I am still enamored by the floral arrangements that Alexis created.  I’m usually partial to bold, bright colours…but these prove the fantasy of monochromatic, greenery-rich arrangements!

And how cute is this little munchkin?! We tried to get her to act as flower girl but all she wanted to do was show Grammy the flower petals!

See what I mean when I say a Hacienda Del Sol wedding is magical?! See the mountain view? The stucco backdrop? The perfectly landscaped lawn?

This is one beautiful bride, right?! Right! She’s gorgeous anyway, but a little help from Ivonne accentuated her natural beauty and highlighted her gorgeous hair!
