Silverdale Wetlands Engagement Photos

When Allen and Alanna suggested Silverdale Wetlands Engagement Photos because of its sentimental significance in the history of their relationship (they’d walk the Mission, BC park regularly for date night during the early days of their relationship!), the choice was easy: duh, let’s pick the nostalgic spot!  But then when I showed up at the Wetlands to scout a plan and scope the possibilities, I fell in love with all the park has to offer: water, trees, paths, birds, mountains, bridges.

Basically, this is my joy when I ask my couples for location suggestions: discovering new gems and choosing meaningful spots to celebrate their relationship. I mean, I will always have a bucketlist of “places I want to photograph” to fill in the gaps, but being able to choose spots that are special to them is always getting the trump card!

Did I mention I love Siverdale Wetlands Engagement Photos? Look at that sky reflected in the pond! And that cozy path for snuggling on!

But the real winners, obviously, are Allen and Alanna for being so perfectly joyful as they celebrated the final weeks of engagement. They make being in front of the camera look so effortlessly fun, don’t they?!

Check out the fog we had on that cozy Saturday morning, too!

The best part, though, is that Allen and Alanna brought their hammock to cozy up in and now I’m scheming when I can take my own hammock out to sit in a scenic spot and read a book and sip on some tea. Sounds idyllic, right?!

With as much fun as we had at this Fraser Valley engagement photo gem, I cannot even imagine how much fun we’ll have at their wedding later this month.
