Crescent Beach Engagement
Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind.
“Pooh!” he whispered.
“Yes, Piglet?”
“Nothing,” said Piglet, taking Pooh’s paw. “I just wanted to be sure of you.”
Watching Jordan and Jillian is beautiful. They effortlessly love each other, selflessly serve one another, graciously enjoy the other’s company. Jordan holds the door open for Jillian every time. Jillian snuggles in close to Jordan as often as she can. Jordan cares wholeheartedly for Jillian, protecting and cherishing. Jillian enjoys praising her groom-to-be, celebrating all he is to her.
“I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart for so long. If we’re in each other’s dreams, we can be together all the time.”
Halfway through our afternoon together, we changed locations (1001 Steps normally goes down to a beach but winter’s extra-high tide erased all evidence of beach) and I scooted ahead of Jordan and Jillian to scout my plan of attack for our Crescent Beach Engagement photos.
As I trotted back to the parking lot, Jordan had pulled out his Nikon (yes, that’s right: he brought his camera to his own engagement photo session) and was photographing Jillian. Sheepishly, he explained: “She just looks so gorgeous! I had to take a photo!”
“We’ll be Friends Forever, won’t we, Pooh?’ asked Piglet.
Even longer,’ Pooh answered.”
Jordan & Jillian’s Crescent Beach Engagement session was bitterly cold but warmed by their love, beautiful scenery made perfect by Jillian’s beauty (and Jordan’s adoration!), and the rain stayed (mostly) away except for the five minute drive between 1001 Steps and Crescent Beach.
