Christ United Methodist Memphis Wedding

No matter how much planning goes into a wedding day, everything boils down to two people: the bride and the groom.  No matter how much time is (or isn’t!) spent on hair and makeup, the groom is sure his bride is the most beautiful bride in the world (as it ought to be!).  No matter how many Pinterest details and DIY projects are completed, the bride is there to marry her bestest friend and start life as a wife.  No matter how many flower girls the photographer accidentally trips over, the bride and the groom are celebrating their love and their relationship with their nearest and dearest.

No matter what else goes on during a wedding day, an otherwise “normal” day is made extraordinary by the celebration of abundant beauty and spectacular love that is a bride and a groom pledging their lives to one another.

Mark & Lauren’s Memphis wedding?  No exception.

From the putt-putt pre-wedding fun to the teary first non-look to the triumphant recessional to the wedding party’s flash mob at the reception to the bubble send-off, Mark & Lauren’s wedding day is one for the record books.

(I’m preparing this blog post while listening to classical piano music — looking at these photos while Debussy’s Clair de Lune plays is highly recommended. Especially all the twirls)

YOU GUYS!  Why must you be so adorbs?!
