Pitt Lake Engagement Photos
As a photographer, I frequently have to gasp for air and pinch myself to combat the shock and beauty of my experiences. For example, driving out for Ryan and Lauren’s Pitt Lake engagement photos? We gasped. Often. Standing on the dyke watching the sun set across the mountain top? We gasped. Often. Stopping on the side of the road to frolick in the field during the most vivid of British Columbia sunsets? I pinched myself. Repeatedly.
Ryan and Lauren’s wedding this September will be one of those weddings, too, where I pinch myself watching them celebrate each other while surrounded by their nearest and dearest: IS THIS EVEN REAL LIFE? Yes. But it sure is beautiful.
When Lauren and I were chatting over coffee about her wedding plans, Ryan was across the country in Manitoba. Living the long-distance-life and counting down to when those days will be in the past. She described him as an adventurer and, with a twinkle in her eye, dreamed of an engagement session filled with the rugged mountains that Manitoba doesn’t offer.
Pitt Lake engagement photos, then, fit the bill and exceeded expectations. We adventured, we fought off the geese, we counted beavers, and we surrounded ourselves with mountains.
I love British Columbia’s beauty. And I think you’ll understand, easily, why I am now unabashedly a fan of Pitt Lake.
It’s not just Pitt Lake engagement photos that I love, though: it’s these two and how much they love each other!
But a snowcapped mountain view certainly doesn’t hurt anything!
I mean, check out this cuteness! I love how well he supports her.
This may look like a magical moment (and it was!) but what you don’t see is the uneven ground. Ryan had to hold her hand! 😉
I loved photographing Ryan and Lauren’s Pitt Lake engagement photos and I will love photographing there again! If you’d like to book an engagement session, I’ll look forward to hearing from you soon.
